Hi, my 5 month old kitten has recently started walking funny on his left back leg and falls to the left side after walking for a while or just sitting. He is also not drinking and being very fussy with food, I took him to the vets and they said it didn't look good but he improved slightly and isn't ill in any other way, over the past couple of days, but today seems to be walking funny again... Any suggestions?

I'm a student currently studying Animal Care :)
Take your kitten back to the vet, even though you took her before, just tell them you monitored him and that he's started walking funny again, because I don't mean to scare you, but that doesn't sound good, but can possibly be easier to resolve the problem whilst he's young.
It sounds like he's either got something wrong with his growth in that leg as he is only very young, or he has a hidden injury/pain inside his leg. As I've studied, cats hide their pain as a part of their natural behaviour and so he won't tell you whatsoever whether he is in pain or not, unless he has collapsed or something. Also, animals refuse to eat when they have either suffered from a traumatic experience or are in pain, so you might want to take him back to the vet again to see what is really wrong, and ask for an x-ray of the leg too :)
Hope I helped!

Did the vets explain further other than "it doesn't look good"?

Take him to the vet and ask to check for hip problems it happened to my cat to. She was also young.
