I have 4 days old puppies and they have numerous ticks. I tried getting them manually but they are too tiny than the usual. I researched that these may kill my puppies, if not stopped, but I also researched that puppies less than 6 weeks cannot be given chemicals as treatment. Please help me, I don't want my puppies to die. I don't know what to do.

Have you contacted your vet? Why do they have ticks? Where did they get them from? You have to treat the mother and to do this you need to go to your vet and get proper medication for nursing dogs.

Are you sure they are not fleas?
