Hello
I am planning to install a new indoor tankless water heater. I already have the water softner and also I currently have water heater which is inside the house. I am planning to install the new water heater in the garage. Can you please give me some tips on what needs to be taken care before installing the new Water heater...

You must size the new tankless to your new needs. There are smaller ones that have lower heat rates. The prices of them reflect this quite well... lol. What are you going to use it for? How many fixtures will you be supplying? What size are the pipes supplying/leaving the tankless? Too small pipes in either end of heater will affect it's performance. I tried once to install a customer supplied tankless in a moblie home. It got the water hot but not as hot as tank type. So make sure of your needs and then size the heater to it. Make sure your lines will accommodate it... the higher the flow rate thruogh the pipes - the better it will work.

I should say that it is a Maytag topload washer model number LAT9356AAE. I'm kind of choked because I was extreemly careful to clean everything and ensure a good tight fit. All is good except when it hits 30-100% spin cycle and then the bearing just howls... $200 in parts and about 7 hours later and this is where I'm at... wife is not happy and I feel like a fool for trying now... any help appreciated.
