I have a Whirlpool washer model # WTW57ESVWO. When washing clothes, no matter the size of the load, at the end of the spin cycle it completely soaks the clothes. It soaks them to the extent that there is about 1-2 inches of water in the basin when it is complete. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi steveandjackie, could be something fouled up in the pump or line causing it to drain slow. It should drain and tub full of water under 70 seconds, time that to check pump. Good luck

Oh, all whirlpools spray five second burst of water on spin cycle, that's normal.

I stopped it about 1/2 way through the spin cycle & there was no water in the basin. However, when I restarted it, it ran for about 1-2 minutes and then sprayed continuously for the duration of the spin cycle. It has never done that before.

Steve, sounds like a timer issue, try cleaning the contacts and look for any signs of blistering or burning. The link below should help. Good luck

Thanks parttime. I'll have to try that this weekend when I have time.
