I have been fighting my mortgage company, GMAC Mortgage, due to Predatory Lending Violations and Bank Fraud revealed in a Forensic Audit which cost me $1,000 for the audit. I have been denied 5 times for insufficient income. I am disabled and have a son, born 1lb.10ozs. who is also disabled. We have lived here in our home fore 26 years. The Bank has been foreclosing on our home due to the large amount of equity. I did nothing wrong and was current with my mortgage until I filed my first Loan Modification. I have been denied for insufficient income, which happens to be the same amount that I had when I refinanced in 2007. I was scammed by a Debt Consolidation and Loan Modification for $2,700 upfront. They told me not to pay my credits. My credit score was always execellent which I can document. Now it is too loan to get any financial assistance to pay my bills. I have filed 5 Loan Modifications, approximately $15,000, and had to file two Bankruptcies to stop the Foreclosure auctions. I have fallen behind on my utilities and have been avoiding termination notices. This month after spending another $750 and next month $750, I do not have the money for the electric, etc. I do not think I can take much more of this depressing life. Thanks in advance for your reply? Joanne

If you don't pay your electric, it can be shut off. I would contact your local agency that oversees utilities to see if there is anything that can be done to prevent it.
