This problem is intermittent. Sometimes it will start fine. Other times it will the engine will just turn over until you run the battery down. The plugs, plug wires, coil, coil wire, distributer and fuel pump have all been replaced. I can start it and go to the store, turn it off, get back in it and it won't start. The garage I normally use is next door to the store. The next day when the mechanic comes to get it, it starts fine. I go pick it up and bring it home where it may set for a day or two. Then I try to start it and it just turns over but won't start. It's driving me insane!

Replace the Ignition Control Module. You should easily be able to do this yourself.

TxGreaseMonkey,

Thanks for your reply! I appreciate it. Ironically I stopped at NAPA today and described the problem to them and they suggested the same thing so I bought one. I haven't installed it yet but when I do I'll post the result.

Thanks again!
