How do I delete my AOL media player so that it never pops up again?

To disable AOL Media Player, do the following:
Click on "Settings" in the AOL Toolbar.
Choose "Preferences" from the menu.
Click on the "Multimedia" link.
Uncheck "Use AOL Media Player for supported file types"
Click "Save"

Go get yerself WinAmp from winamp.com

If it still pops up as AOL crap usually does you may have to Start, Run, type MSCONFIG, click Startup tab and uncheck AOL media stuff.
