At a (civillian) place like the liquor store or a casino for example, what information does the clerk see upon scanning the barcode on a license?
I'm asking because I went to a casino recently and they took my license, scanned it and made me a personalized casino card without asking me for any info or manually inputting any info. Do they have my phone number or address now? As in, will I be getting junk mail from them, or will they sell my information? I noticed they scan licenses at the liquor store too. So... what can they see and what right do they have to my info?
