What would this mean in regards to a company such as bank of america?

Financial institutions often refer to their services as “products”.

For example, maybe they offer a special cash-back credit card and will track various aspects of how the card (i.e. the product) is doing over time (i.e. the history).

“Sales History” might refer to things like how many cards have been issued, or the revenue generated from card transaction and user fees.
