If the mother's blood type is B+, and the baby is O+, what is the father's blood type?

Do you know the RH factors, what is the recessive traits, not just the blood type that is talked about in donation.

It can be a or a B or a 0 for sure

If you are trying to figure who the father is, it will have to be done by a lab and normally DNA,

Blood type can eliminate a person as a parent, but not confirm paternity

If mother is B+, and baby O+, what is the fathers blood type? I know who the father is. It's my husband. I'm just curious and would like to know his blood type. He hates needles and not looking forward to any blood draws.

Sorry, can't determine your husband's blood type from the information you have given, no one can. It can only be determined with a blood test.

Blood type can eliminate a person as a parent, but not confirm paternity, but still there is a chart given in the following site -

Understanding Genetics: Human Health and the Genome (http://www.thetech.org/genetics/ask.php?id=199)

That may help you somewhat, in which (go extreme) the combinational possibilities are given.

(But, there are documented examples where these rules are broken)

He can be A, B, or O, but not AB.
Which gender of each parent has which type isn't relevant, nor does it establish paternity. (I know, you aren't concerned about paternity.)
