My husband moved out a month ago. I asked this woman on two occasions prior to his leaving if she was involved with him. She told me no each time. She too is also married. Now they flaunt their relationship in front of me. I am under the care of a psychiatriast. I now take medication. I have severe anxiety and humiliation. I can't go anywhere in our small town without feeling like people are gawking at me. There is extra stress because my 3 kids are upset, saddened and confused as to why their dad left. I am already on permanent disability for seizures. Could I sue for intentional infliction of emotional distress on his mistress? She knew he was married but didn't care. I asked her point blank if she was involved with my husband and she denied it twice. Can I sue her? What are my chances of coming out successful? I live in Tennessee where there is no alienation of affection.
