If you are allowed to you should record any threats and then when they try to deny it no matter how many witnesses they have you have evidence against it. What country / state are you in.

Usually police anywhere will disregard arguments between neighbors. There's no proof of harm, and they don't have the time or inclination.

If you report threats, they may possibly talk to the neighbor, but probably won't do anything because it's all hearsay until something actually happens. If she has police contact, or you think she filed some sort of complaint, do the same. But keep in mind that they don't appreciate reports of verbal disputes.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

If I understand you, you were physically beaten by your neighbor's relatives and they are claiming it was justified because you teased and screamed at her?

You need to report this immediately. There is no justification for physical assault. Instead of the police go to the local prosecutor or district attorney's office. Explain to them about the threats of a police relative and that's why you are afraid to go to the police. You will need proof of the beating. Did you go to the hospital? When did this happen?

I just noticed your separate post and merged the two threads. If you need to add follow-up information please use the Answer box below (not the report function).
