Hello, I'm preparing to make a bid on a 18,000 sq ft church which consists of 10 offices/rooms, 9 baths, 2 stairwells, a small chapel, commercial kitchen, a sanctuary sitting about 200 comfortably, a large common area, and foyer.

They want a weekly cleaning. There is a lot of woodwork, and hardwood flooring throughout.

Please help!

What do your competitors charge by hour, and how many man hours do you think it will take to complete?

I would take the time it takes to complete the largest building you have cleaned to date? How big of a team would you need? Etc.

Based upon 2,000 sq ft per hour which is very detailed cleaning it should take 9 to 10 total man hours to complete.

In addition to general sweeping and mopping please tell me what exactly do you have to do to these wood floors? And how often? Are you responsible for treating these wood floors and other woodwork?

What about the windows do you have to clean them and are they cut and stained glass?

Please also tell me what experience you have in general cleaning and in the specialized cleaning such as these floors? As they can be easily damaged. Do you have insurance?

Pricing is always your decision in the end. If you are looking for a competitive price then please answer the above questions and I would be happy to assist where I can.

Please let me know.

Research how much your competitors are charging and their how many days they will take for such work.
Then analyze how much human resource is required and their expenses.
How much time will be required.
Calculate your expenses and then quote your client.
