How bad does an industrial piercing hurt? Will numbing cream help the pain? How much does it cost at a normal tattoo place? Also how old do you have to be? Thanks

Pain is relative. What I mean by that is different people have different thresholds for pain. What you might find painful others might not even acknowledge.

Age depends on where you live. We get posters from all over the world. So please let us know.

Pricing will also depend on where you live. To get that, your best bet is to call around to a few reputable places in your area and get that information. They should also be able to help you out with the age requirements. NEVER go to a place that will tattoo an individual underage or without parent/guardian consent.

As far as numbing cream... I'd imagine it would help ease pain, but I'm not sure of the possible infection risks with that. Someone else here might be able to give more information on that.

Most places will tattoo and pierce at age 16 with parental permission, in the US at least. Mine cost 50 dollars. It was quite painful, and I have a high pain tolerance. I personally would not use the numbing cream. It could possibly clog the wound and cause problems healing such as infection.
