Hello Forum,

I receive my AF every month like clock work, but this month I have been having some strange symptoms... fatigue, cramping (dull and achy), pink spotting, and brown stringy jelly type clots (sorry if TMI) instead of my would be period. It reminds you of old blood, but there isn't that "period smell". I went to the ER this morning and I was told by the PA that this could be IB, but he doesn't know for sure. I was only offered a urine test and blood work was not performed if though I requested it. His response when all of my labs returned was, "I don't see an infection and the urine test was negative, etc...blah blah blah." Of course anyone in their right mind would ask, "isn't it too early to test urine at 4 weeks (if I were pregnant)? Have anyone else received this uncommon scenario? I'm not Trying to conceive, but I just want a peace of mind. Any and all answers are welcomed of course.
