I don't have family in LA but I have a close friend who is going to allow me to live with her there I've applied for a transfer and am wondering what the chances are for approval,I've got interviews for jobs there and a stable place live, I don't have ANY family period. Will I still be approved?

This should be an issue, just remember you can not travel there to interview without the PO permission. NO travel out of state. Have you made written formal request to the PO ?

Also it most likely will not, but can take up to 3 months for approval. The state where you are going and the state you are in both have to agree

Yes, I've filed for a formal transfer, and my PO said that LA. Has 45 days to either approve or deny the transfer.

Also this is the first time I've ever been in trouble, I'm not a career criminal. I made a mistake. I've been at the same job for three yrs same job I had at the beginning of my probation and ib=ve never missed a payment or po appointment I have completely complied with everything on my probation.

Hello H:

Whether you'll be approved or not depends on whether you meet the criteria.. It's NOT guesswork. Here's HOW (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/criminal-law/how-transfer-probation-562513.html) to find out IF you meet the criteria.
