My problem or maybe his problem, either the stopper contacts are worn or the unit that holds the magnets are worn. Over the years it is harder and harder to activate, now it is about impossible to find the right spot to get contact... I don't know if the stopper is worn or the body in the sink..
Anyone had this experience.

Hi lodondonerO,
You piggybacked on a old thread so I gave you one of your own.
I don't know if the stopper is worn or the body in the sink..
My bet would be on the cover, (see image) However, the only series number I have to go on is from the old thread that's the cover I'm putting up.
You can check out repair parts at:Buyplumbing.net your online plumbing store for Kitchen or Bathroom fixtures. (http://www.buyplumbing.net/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=29&gclid=COyXmvf5oasCFY0s7AodjSbGjw) Good luck, Tom

Hi guys,
It could also be that the collar switch (in Tom's picture next to drain cover) has loosened or is getting loose. Check under the sink, up real tight between the sink and the disposal and see that the collar switch is tight in against the disposal. If not, push it in tight... may even have to disengage and then snap back in place.
Back to you...
Mark
