I am 45 years old. My period has been regular up until this month. I had my period on Sept 2. . Now today, Sept 14th I have cramps with sharp pain on lower left side. Early This morning I had some dark red blood when I wiped which has , 3hours later , turned to brown discharge upon wiping . Nothing has been on pad. My husband and I have had unprotected sex twice since my period ended. What is this? Implantation bleeding or start of perimenopause.
