Alexandra decides to climb Mt. Krumpett, which is 5,000 feet high. She determines that this will require a total of 3,150 calories for the trip.

For her food supply, she decides to take nutrition bars. The label states that each bar contains 50 of carbohydrates, 10 of fat, and 40 of protein.

I assume those are calories and not grams. So you have added them together... and then what? How many add up to the total calories she needs? And does the height of the mountain matter? (We don't do the problems, we try to help you do them.)
