You go and apply, talk to people you know, talk to past business people. If you are close to social or civic groups, talk to them. Do you want to get into sales perhaps, finance planning or retirement planing,
Or as my father in law in his 70, retired from a corporate job, he works now at Walmart as a greeter and loves it

AARP connects retirees with volunteer work in their field.
My father mentored students in my high school who needed help with accounting, through Rotary.
My town (small) has free tax help in March and April. As a banker I am sure you can help people with financial problems - budgeting, gambling, etc.
Many volunteer jobs lead to offers of paying work.
