Are there any free driver update programs that are reliable and safe?

You could use any one of these: Best Free Software Update Monitor (http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-software-update-monitor.htm)

What drivers are you looking to update? You may have to pay for a good update program and they only point out what drivers are out of date but don't automatically update them for you. At least that's what I have found when I used one of the "free" driver update programs. Try looking on the software maker's site for your driver updates instead.

I would start with your computer manufacturer's site as they have the ones for your specific model. After that you could straight to the video card manufacturer's site if you know the exact make/model of your card.

Surfed that site. Thanks NK maybe I'll download one of those programs to see what's out of date on my Gateway PC. Some of my drivers have no updates available though.
