BOA place me into the HAMP program when I didn't want to be in it.Then when I talked to them and said I want to take part they said I didn't.The VP of the branch in town made note saying I did. After 22 months of the wrong paper work and 14 times filling out forms to start over I wrote the AG's office.I then got a call from the CEO's office of BOA and told they would look into this,a month later they sent me a letter stating I didn't make payment on time for the four months in 2010 when they took the money out on the first every month. Now I get phone calls from them asking if I have friends I could borrow money from or take it out of my 401k.I have a lawyer who is only going to work on the HAMP program for me,no one seems to want to take on the big bank so I want to do it myself.Where to start. Thanks

BOA has a record of such activities, Radio talk show host, Clark Howard warns people not to do business with them, even to have checking accounts or more.

The trouble about "taking them on" is that they have dozens and dozens of attorneys on staff that don't really cost them anything to fight you, So unless you have big money to hire attorneys there is little you can do.

You will need to prove that what they are claiming is wrong.
