I need help with writing reference for my friend but I don’t know how to do this. He needs reference for getting employed. He is honest, reliable, trustworthy, always on time, willing to help and learn new skills.
He is also fit, strong and healthy hardworking mature minded person, who is keen and willing to work in a team environment. He is computer literate with good communication skills. He has an eye for a detail and he is also willing to work overtime.
So, if anyone could help me with writing reference for my friend I will be very thankful to you

Believe it or not, you have written the reference.  It is important to include how you know this person and for how long.  A reference is more impressive if you have known someone for an extended period and if you have some supervisory relationship to them such as teacher student or manager and subordinate.  

You can start the letter out with: Dear Mr or Mrs _____ I am delighted to recommend ____________ for the position of _________. I have know him for x

xx years as his manager. He is blah blah blah. I recommend him without reservation. Please feel free to contact me regarding this outstanding young man.
