I recently purchased a new Kenmore Elite 417.8110 front load dryer. Since day one I have gotten the CE error. I have had a service man out to check my dryer, a new dryer has been brought to my house. The exhaust pipe going out of the house has been cleaned (from the ground and the roof, which is where the exhaust exits the house), I have checked the dryer hose for leaks, even purchased a 90 deg. Neck piece for the wall. I believe the problem is, the hole in the wall faces the floor, and the exhaust exits through the roof. So, the piping from the dryer comes straight out the back, goes down and then back up. So, I have done my best to straighten the line to help with any resistance, and cleaned everything out. The only way to keep the thing running is to disconnect it from the wall. Is there some way I can simply turn off the CE warning so the dryer will continue to run? Frustrated and extremely grateful for any help.

Hi cincfam and welcome, disconnecting a warning light or alarm is never the best idea, instead look at the link below for another option. Good luck
