I'm going to meet my 10-year-old cousin in a few days. I've never seen her before, nor talked or something, so, I would appreciate it if you gave me some suggestions about what kind of things should I discuss with her. I'm 18 years old, I used to be more childish when I was her age but children have changed a lot in the last years, so I might say I am a little bit old-fashioned in this situation.

10 year olds are starting to get into play make-up I would suggest lip balm/chap-stick (like lip smackers) they have all different flavors.. you can also get the 1.99 face mask that they sell in drug stores and you can get nail polish ( the brand hard candy which comes with a little ring on the top that matches the polish color or the brand bon bon which are in cute little 4ml bottles) those are all really inexpensive ideas good luck!

My daughter is 10 and she's very much into computers, games and sports. You may want to try and figure out first if your cousin is more girly-girl or more tomboy and then take it from there.

It all depends on her.

My daughter is 9, so not much younger then your cousin. She loves to dress up, and play with makeup, but she's just as eager to get on a skateboard, or rough house with the boys. She loves computer games, but not Xbox or things like that. She loves stuffed animals, doesn't really like dolls.

There's really no way to give you an exact answer. It really does depend on the individual. :)

My daughter points and laughs at Justin Bieber. Her idol is Charles Trippy, a vlogger on YouTube.

I'm going to have to look that one up.

His channel is Internet Killed Television. She actually saved up her money and gave it to me to buy her one of his tshirts.

Justin who?

But with that said, there is no such thing as a 10 year old all being the same, does she live in the city or on a farm,

Even what country you live in ? On a farm, she may have chickens or a sheep she is growing for a FHA or fair project.

He may love cats ( or hate them) she may be in to martial arts, or be a tom boy, She may love pink or hate it.
Love video games and so on.

So perhaps your mom and her mom can talk and tell each other likes and dislike of their children to let each of you be more prepared.
Or you could call her and talk and ask her what she likes.
