At 7weeks pregnant my baby's growth was excellent as was the heartbeat but I had a yolk sac measuring 7mm the following week, growth and hearbeat right on but yolk sac 9.2mm. I am now just over 11 weeks and measuring exactly what I should, heartbeat 163 (the yolk sac is going down). I worry about the yolk sac indicating chromosonal abnormalities. What are the chances of me having a healthy "normal" baby?

Always, why are you coming on line here and asking about your worries about your pregnancy and decreasing yolk sac. You are worrying needlessly when you can talk face to face with your gyno about every stage of your pregnancy. We can't diagnose here, we don't know your previous med conditions; you don't say how old you are, how many babies you have had before. Please, please discuss this with your doctor, right down all of your concerns, pay attention at every ultrasound, but most importantly, enjoy every aspect of your pregnancy as best you can.
