My Kenmore 70 series washer lid switch broke so I took the cabinet off and put the switch back together, problem solved. Went to do a load of laundry, came back 10 minutes later and it was totally overfilled. The pressure hose at the bottom/side of the tub had not come loose so I don't know how this happened. I let the washer cycle and it drained normally, spun. Then when I went to start another load it won't fill. If you turn the load level switch between settings the water will start to flow and then once it clicks into the right space it stops immediately. Another strange thing that happens is when you turn the dial to start a load instead of filling the agitator starts agitating at about 2x speed for a few minutes before stopping briefly and then starts agitating at normal speed. If you let the cycle go normally it will spin and agitate as it should but never fills during the rinse cycle. When I took the cabinet off did I do something to the control panel that really screwed it up or does this sound like I just need to play with/replace the water level solenoid switch?
