So.. I am a 55 year old woman. I left their dad in 2004 and my daughter (23) went with me and my son (19) stayed with his dad. The dad and I still get along fine. But our kids seem to want to lie to me about everything, and unfortantely the dad also is a LIER. My daughter has 2 girls, that I only see when she does not have any one else to watch them and my son just had a baby boy yesterday and his girlfriend (whom I have only meet 2 time) hates me, and won't let me see my grandson. I don't know what I did wrong, one day I was on her Facebook, then DELETED?? I try to talk to my son but he won't talk to me and I ask my daughter and she is like "i dont know". I don't believe her. How do I get my heart to stop being in pain? I love them so much, I am a good person and MOM!! Why don't they see this? They spend all their time with their dad and his side of the family.
My side of the family was in their life from day one and they don't want anything to do with them either. HELP ME PLEASE TO FIND A WAY TO LET THIS GO!:mad:

My first impression is that their father lied to them about you. Now that the well has been poisoned, it will be very hard for you to change their minds. You must remember they are now adults and they may just come around on their own or maybe not, maybe never. It's a shame that they are doing this to you but you need to remember they make their own choices (even if wrong).

Just continue to be yourself and loving them when and if they come around. Hopefully one day they will realize you are not the bad guy after all.
