I need to know the background history of LInder Ave, Chicago,IL. I've been seeing ghosts & sensing paranormal activity since I moved into this apartment. I need to know the history from past to present. What this building was before it became an apartment & the life history of this building. Thank-You

I used to live on Linder Ave... Something terrible happened there. I didn't mean to do it, but I got took over. It was kind of like a black cloud... There was lots of blood and guts.. They didn't catch me, though, so I'm coming back..

If you want to know the history of a certain building, you spend weeks going though old news paper reports. You go down to the court house and review the deeds to see who owned the property.

You go to review building permits and/or zoning permits to see changes in usage

You could also ask some of the neighbors who have lived in that area for many years. They could help direct you to the names and dates of particular incidents they remember. Try asking the oldest person and see what they remember.
