I have Harden Industries shower fixtures. Harden Ind. Went out of business a few years ago. I have a problem with the Harden hand shower head and the hose which attaches to it. The original hose was destroyed during re-plating. The hose has an adapter which attaches to the wall unit. I can 't remove the adapter. I need the adapter. Is there a way I can send you an e-mail with a picture of the adapter?

Indeed, Harden was acquired by Fisher Manufacturing in 2001. Since then, Harden faucets do not sell too well - if they sell at all. Have not seem them in while. Unfortunately, Harden was always about the looks and not about the functionality. We got nothing but negative responses from majority of our customers who had Harden faucets installed.

There shouldn't be any adapter connecting hose to the body. Usually, adapters indicate retrofit. Or could it be a back-flow-preventer / anti-siphon device you calling "adapter" ? Otherwise, hose should attach directly to the body / wall union. Please, post detailed photos so we can determine whether it is a retrofit or an adapter that is actually designed to be part of the faucet.

Back to you. Milo

I also have a faucet handle that broke, with a lifetime guarantee. How do I get a replacement part?

Lifetime only works when the company is still around. May have to buy another faucet or try a retrofit from HD or Lowe's, they have lots of handles in stock.
