My name is jolene and I'm 13 years old. I fell in love in a guy who goes to my church.
I think he likes me too because he keeps looking at me. He is 15 years old. I have been waiting for him to ask me out for 5 months now. My friends know him and they tell me that he is into older girls because his ex was 16 years old. My friend who goes to his school says he is a jerk. Even on whatever they told me I can't get over him because he is nice to me. Now he recently got a girlfriend who also is 16 years old. He is in my youth group and he keeps trying to be friend's with me. I don't know what to do. I try to get over him but I just love him. What should I do? Should I wait tell he breaks up with his girlfriend or how should I get over him?

The best advice I can give is if you like him, then just be friends with him. It sounds like even though he is in your youth group, you don't know him all that well. And if your friend says he is a jerk, then keep that in mind. He might just use girls. So if it was me, I'd get to know him as a friend, then later, once you two are friends and have talked for a while, then tell him if you still feel the same. Just because he is nice now, that doesn't mean he'll be nice once you really know him. Just be careful. =] Hope it helped. =]
