So, I have an iPhone 4 and have happily been syncing away with iTunes for around a year now. My girlfriend has an iPhone 3GS and unbeknownst to me and hasn't synced once in that time.

I thought I would start her off with some good syncing habits and I used my computer and my version of iTunes. It successfully did the thing where I now have used 2 of my 5 apple devices and I was even able to successfully pass on cool paid apps such as NAVIGON etc.

When I checked Outlook, however, I noticed two things:

1. All of our contacts had been smooshed together
2. I couldn't work out how to find any of either my or her calendar entries

I have three questions about this:

1. Is there a way to differentiate our contacts in Outlook?
2. Is there a way to bring up either my or her calendar entries in Outlook?
3. If I now sync my iPhone 4, will any of her contacts or calendar entries mush in with mine?

Thanks heaps.

Syncing mutable iPhones or other devices to a single computer can give you some strang results if you sych to the same account on the computer. Create an account on the computer for each of you and work from their that way your phones will not be a meld of two peoples information.
