Wondering if anyone knows the consequences of this if caught. This person was just put on non-reporting six months ago but has no choice but to move out of state for employment and can not wait for a tranfer to go through. Please help!

Sure you can leave BUT if you are stopped by the cops in another state for anything be ready to be held in jail on no bond and be returned to the state you are on probation for and then appear at your VOP hearing and be ready to spend more time possibly in jail and more probation. Your best bet is to play it legal as Murphy's Law - You will probably be caught.

Do you intend on keeping the same home address as you have now and having someone forward your mail to you? What about your phone number? Do you intend on keeping a cell phone as your only contact phone? Also your job? Are you now employed or unemployed? How often do you need to check in until you are off probation?

If caught, their probation is revoked and they will be locked up pending a hearing, Most likely they will get serious jail time for this, since it was not a mistake but a choice.

And the person always has a choice,
