Is there a mediator that can step in and try to resolve tenant to tenant problems when the manager seems to ignore them even when the problems are brought to the attention of the manager?

And in what Country and state would this be? Laws vary considerably.

I have never heard of such a mediator anywhere. It would help if you would state the problem as well as where you live. Some disputes might be covered by some laws, some might not.

Hello Tim:

No, the manager is NOT a referee. He runs a BUILDING. In fact, if the two of you cause trouble, you BOTH can be evicted.

But, to answer your question... YES. You can hire a professional mediator.. I'm sure you can one listed in your yellow pages or on the internet..

Is the manager going to pay for him?? Bwa, ha ha ha ha.

If both you and the other renter, will both agree to use a mediator, and both agree to follow anything that is decided, then you both are free to go and hire one.
