Peace be upon you,
I am a muslim who likes and practice my religoun and try to be committed.
I was listeing to the Seerah and I was shocked for the battles where those sahaba were striking men dividing them in 2 pieces and a lot of violate and killing that I felt so sick. Nonetheless I tried to block those bad feelings out of my mind and finding rationalizing for all that mass killing,
Anyway, what was the most shocking to me was slaughtering 700 jews or more from banu Kurais. I read some arguments about angle gabriel came and oredered prophet or that sa'd was the judge and he decided that. But honestly I am guna face this without being biased, how come a prophet of \god sent mercy for the world, allow slaughtering 700 jews nomatter what they did whether betraying or not?
Sometime I hear things from Islam and prophet muhammad that makes me cry for its beauty and something some of the stuff are very dark and violent and scary? Could you help me understand ?

The wicked acts of violence in the past and in our day today are NOT from God! This world is alienated from God since men have chosen rebellion against Gods moral and spiritual authority. As a result the whole world is lying in the power of Gods adversary Satan the Devil. When you see acts of terrorism, ethnic cleansing, violence and outright wickedness coming from ANY religious group THEY ARE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL NOT GOD! Yes there is much to be sad about in the past and also in our day, one thing is for certain though, God will soon render judgement upon this entire world including all FALSE RELIGION and all who betray him by their works. It is only after that soon to be judgement that this world will enjoy peace as all religious, political & commercial elements are removed once and for all time. The earth will be a Paradise with a global brotherhood of lovers of peace and of God!

In many faiths, such as Islam and Christianity there were often fighting and battles and 100's if not 1000's were killed.

I apologize for the prophet Pbuh and To Allah for this sin I have done. I donnot mean to do bad to prophet or his reputation. I ask God forgiveness for what I have committed . Allah and his messenger Muhammad knows best all answers.
Islam is the greatetst religion and only one accepted by God. Prophet muhammad Pbuh is the truth and final messenger of God to humanity. I bear witness I am muslim and muhammad pbuh is my prophet and exampler.
My question is stupid and shouldn't have been asked.

The Crusades and other violent acts created by Christianity were NOT authorized nor approved by God, in fact it proved that the religious groups who participated were in fact FALSE Christians and NOT followers of Christ, a great verse from 1 John 4:20,21 shows this. Many TRUE Christians were thrown into arenas and devoured by animals simply because they refused to fight in warfare of any nation and kill their brother because of a political agenda.
Today is no different, any so-called religious group that participates or supports any warfare or violence cannot and will not ever have God approval, in fact 1 John 3:10-12 clearly shows this.

This is the true aanswer. May God bless prophet muhammah best and final messenger of God. Peace be upon him and all his companions. The incident I mentioned in question was misunderstood by my ignorance,
The Prophet Muhammad then had to deal with the 700 prisoners of war from Banu Qurayza. He did not make any decision regarding them, but left it to an arbitrator, Sa'd bin Muadh, who was an ally of Banu Qurazya and the chief of a major Medinian tribe.
Sa'd took a pledge from both sides—the Prophet and the leaders of Banu Qurayza—that his verdict would be binding. Sa'd's final verdict was that those who fought against the Muslims should be killed, and that the women and children should be taken as prisoners. This judgment was applied in accordance with the voluntarily agreement of the Jews to be bound by the final verdict.
Banu Qurayza unfortunately faced this harsh punishment due to their very serious act of treason, which entirely undermined the fragile stability of the community. In fact, the Jews did not object to this judgment, as Sa'ad's decision was based on Jewish law, as expounded in the Torah:
When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace.
If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labour and shall work for you. If they refuse to make peace and they engaged you in battle, lay siege to that city. When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it.
As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. (Deuteronomy 20:10-16)
A Hindu writer, Nadhuran, after a detailed study of the historical account and the judgment made upon Banu Qurayza, concluded: “…though it seems harsh, Sa'd's verdict was fair. First, this verdict accorded with [the Jews'] own laws. Second, the verdict was made by a mediator who was their own ally and they themselves had chosen him to arbitrate between them and Muhammad.”
The prolific author and scholar of comparative religions, Karen Armstrong, states “… It is, however, important to note that the Qurayzah were not killed on religious or racial grounds. None of the other Jewish tribes in the oasis either objected or attempted to intervene, clearly regarding it as a purely political and tribal matter… The men of Qurayzah were executed for treason. The seventeen other Jewish tribes of Medina remained in the oasis, living on friendly terms with the Muslims for many years, and the Qur'an continued to insist that Muslims remember their spiritual kinship with the People of the Book…”
Therefore, it is clear from the detailed context of this incident that the charge of ethnic cleansing or genocide of the Jews of Medina is a baseless accusation.

Islam is the greatetst religion and only one accepted by God.
I'd be careful how you word things. This is a world wide site. As such there are many different religious and non religious beliefs on this site. Do not put down anyone else's beliefs and proclaim yours as the only one accepted by God. You can't and don't know that to be fact.
