When two people have Family insurance coverage, there is something called coordination of benefits. Generally, the primary insurance pays what they cover, if it is not 100%, then you can submit a claim for the balance to the secondary coverage. They will then pay according to the policy provisions. So, when you go to the doctor, you pay the $25 and then submit a claim to your husband's insurance. However, with a limited number of visits, it may work differently. I would consult your benefits people for a full explanation.
