I took my dog to the vet last Saturday about this thing on her leg. We aren't sure what it is. The vet said to try some antibiotics and call him in a week if it wasn't better. He didn't really know what it was either. It's been a week and no improvement. I'm hoping that this is just a scar or something. Has anyone ever seen something like this. Should I take my dog to another vet for a 2nd opinion? Thanks for any help in advance!

I put bacitracin ointment on my dogs scab and it cleared it up, it is safe for the dog, you might want to try that
