After a long running break up and make up saga I now know that my girlfriend ov 3 years was not who I thought she was. I lost a lot of money I lent to her and I was too blind by love to ever expect it. When I was oblivious to her cheating and lies I felt my life was full of love and happiness and a strong future but now I know its over for good I really don't know what my future is and I don't know how to get rid of feeling so empty like I don't have a point. I really don't go out as much anymore as I don't earn that much and I'm trying to save almost every penny I can to buy a house for myself.

You appear to be okay. Buying a house will bolster your esteem and you'll be back on top. Just think of her as missing a good thing and go on with your life. The are many loves for a person; but you'll find the one who'll appreciate what she has.

Wow... I went through this too. I feel what you're going through here. The only thing I can really say is that over time, it does get easier to deal with. It's never completely left me but I can live again and I'm OK now. Things will get better for you, you just have to wait it out.

Take care and just know that you're not alone... plenty of others have gone through this too.

So you have hit the rocky bottom, hurts like hell but the good news is have finally suffered enough from your ex... you may feel empty but your eyes are open and it's a brand new day.

Think of it this way, your empty, she does not take up any more of your head and heart space, you can now fill it with whatever you want.

Rebuild.

You can now take a deep breathe and start investing in your future, focusing on making new memories, new friends and a new house! Wow, that is a great idea, and a great sense of achievement, but just so you don't become a hermit, break the bank now and then and get out into the world, it's a great place!
