I'm 15, nearing 16 years old. I have had a "bump" on the outside of my vagina under pubic hair. It feels like a large... Bug bite, except this "bump" has been there for several months, if not a bit longer. At one point, puss came out from it after taking a shower, as it would from, perhaps a pimple.

What is it? Should I be worried?

J,
This is most likely an infected hair follicle which can harbor pus and which can grow quite large, like a pimple. If you're worried about it being a sexually transmitted disease, chances are that it's not - chancres and pustules from STD's live on the mucous membranes of your labia and internal v-aginal barrel. If you're worried though, please see a doctor.

Best of luck,

I agree... Gentile warts can be spread through a hand shake or a dry used towel ETC... It is a permanent virus that will "If treated go away and may or may not come back." By having this the "virus" it will stay with you for the rest of your life but is pretty much undetectable even to a doctor with out an out break. Please be care full with your damp towels and maybe use one separate for your gentiles. But it shouldn't itch... So go see a doctor.

Greenapplie, are you willing to disclose what the problem was? I'm having a very similar issue with the bumps.

JBugg, I have just seen this problem for myself too. I'm 17 and have never had sexual intercourse.

My has never pussed before though. It used to resemble a pimple, but not so much now. It's the color of a bruise and is a bump. When touched, I can feel it, but otherwise not. In the center, there is a tiny black dot as if someone put a pen mark there.

I'm really concerned, anyone know?

It could just be an ingrown hair.

I have had one of those before, it was like a gigantic bug bite, it was a cyst, I don't remember the medical name for it. Mine was on the inside of my vagina, on the inside of one of the lips, I got medicine from the doctor that you take by mouth, and I soaked in a hot bath everyday to draw out the puss. I often put baking soda in the bath also. Wear a pad most of the time in your underwear so it doesn't drain out on your panties. Hope this helped!

See a doctor, I had a cyst and it was gone in about a week, I soaked in a hot bath everyday with baking soda in it, that helps draw out the puss or the liquid inside. Hope that helped! I also saw a doctor and he gave me some medicine that you take by mouth.

Its more than likely a boil, they can be caused by get to hot as in wearing tight pants and also shaving, its an infection in the hair follicle. Not life threatening but can be very painful and can often ooze pus close up and continue doing this until its treated. Your best option is to get a cream called Bactriban its half sterioid half antibacterial.
If its left untreated it can turn into folliculitis which is extremely hard to get rid of
