Anyone like listening to a little music whilst browsing AMHD?

How about sharing a few links so we can have them opened in a second tab to listen along to?

Here's a few things I'm enjoying:

The first, and the reason for starting this thread came to mind on trying to answer a question on the music board. No idea if I thought of the right song but I enjoyed listening to it when I was reminded of it:

Far from home - Five finger death punch.
‪Five Finger Death Punch - Far From Home (LYRICS)‬‏ - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=robwprDgqwQ)

The second shows my age somewhat but I still love it:

Paint it black - The Rolling stones.

Last one for now, another oldie, but boy this guy's voice does something for me. :o

Changes - David Bowie

How you enjoy and will have some to share, love finding new things to listen to and re-visiting old favourites. :)

What would be fun would be if people were Grooveshark members and they could share their Playlists.

I love the links QLP, but I have learned not to listen to music while posting, depending on the song my posts reflect what I'm listening too.

Example; sad songs, my posts are a freakin lament! Rocking it out music, my posts are 'ah feck it,you only live once leave your job, get drunk and live on the road!'

The amount of times I've had to backspace or delete is not funny.

I'm totally influenced by ads too, I once brought dishwasher tablets and I did'nt even have a dishwasher, I'm quite embarressed about that one.

Sorry, but I find the dishwasher tablets anecdote hilarious. :D I would say I'm the opposite and really not influenced by ads, but that's not entirely true as I have stopped buying products as a result of their ads on more than one occasion. Guess I'm rather cynical, certainly an ad man's nightmare lol.

5FDP! Great band, QLP.

I don't listen to music when I'm online and if I did, I'm sure the majority here wouldn't care to listen in either. Lol

I have a Pandora station, and a Slacker station... but I have yet to try Grooveshark.

I am not sure how to share my stations, though.

Tried Grooveshark, it did not have a lot of the stuff I listen to and I didn't find it that user friendly so I left it.

Pandora does not allow their service in Canada unfortunately. I could do a little hack to get it to work but that's per browser.

Here's some stuff I listen to while working:

‪Cake- Never There‬‏ - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nbzt1HnVzIQ)

‪Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta‬‏ - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thkVVTJogUs)

Thanks... I think, not sure about showing my darkside :D

I liked your selection as well

Another one of my favourite (although it's a MIDI homage to "Mad World," by Tears for Fears, it speaks to me having played a lot of these games :))

Oh I love Frank Zappa!! I saw Frank and the Mothers in San Diego back in 72 or 73. I can't remember exactly since I was really loaded on acid. Tom Waits opened for him and everyone was totally not into poor ole Tom so they booed him off the stage. I was right at the stage and I saw the hurt on his face. Man, that kind of turned it into a bummer for me... until Frank Zappa hit the stage. YEEEOOOWWWW!! They were so good that in the thirty years since, I sill have not found the words to describe it.
Remember that chick that played the xylophone? Well, someone threw one of those chinese air sock fish thingies up on the stage, and Frank got it and started chasing her with it snapping at her bottom and she was running around freaking out and the Mothers were jamming like mad men. Frank could set a guitar on fire. WHOA! It was like I don't know what man. I ain't never seen anything like it since.
Now, even to this day, when I see Tom Waits, I get really sad.

I am impressed by the good taste in music everyone has so far displayed. (I will exclude myself as I could have made a more appropriate choice.)

Five Finger Death Punch ROCKS!! All good music people!

Zappa was an incredible musician and certified nut case , but I like the combo.
Seeing him live was something you just can't describe t people who never saw him live.

I listen to almost all types of music from Mozart to Tool . I caught a performance by this kidand was blown away. I recommend watching the video ,

I've just recently been getting into the hippity hop.

I've been listening to Leonard Cohen lately. Esepcially around Christmas. Love Leonard Cohen - Hallelujah - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrLk4vdY28Q)

But it's a little mellow for work...
