Since last year, my estranged husband could no longer support the kids. Sometimes in two months he will give nothing. And I ended up borrowing money to some of my friends as well as my family to augment the expenses of the our daily living.

We had an agreement how much he will give as weekly allowance for food and monthly allowance for kids studies. But sad to say he never fulfill all these. Every time I will ask him about the money, he will always tells me that he wasn't able to collect from his client. But I was wondering why he still accepting job from that client and his business is still going on. I told him before that he is using the money of the kids to finance his business and ignoring the kid's welfare.

You go to Court and request a Court Order for child support and spousal support (if you qualify). Any agreement you have with him that is not ratified by the Court is pretty much meaningless.

Do it now. It should have been (apparently) a while ago.

Why is he still accepting jobs, shortchanging his children, arguing with you? I have no idea. Ask him. Or have the Court ask him on your behalf.

If you receive state services (medicaid, foodstamps, cash assistance) they will file it automattically for you. That's what they did for me. At least in Arizona. It would help to know what state you are in. some states vary
