I don't know if he will call you, but he's more likely to if you back off than if you keep contacting him and sound needy.

After almost a year and a half dating, most women would expect some sort of progress, or indicator that the relationship has progressed past the 'like' or 'getting to know you' stage.

Telling him you have deep feelings for him, shouldn't be a surprise to either of you. I'd say that you've only communicated to him, what should be obvious after such a period.

I think it is good that you told him how you felt. That he bolted is a good indicator that he does not feel the same way.

Maybe the plus side of this is that you found out now, instead of waiting another year and a half to tell him how you felt, only to have him run.

If he does contact you again, please talk to him and find out how he does feel about you. And then proceed with caution.
