I just got a used Kenmore washer dryer stacked(model 417.89980100). It was discontinued from use for 2 years before I got it last week. The lady who sold this told me that it was in perfect condition before being discontinued. The washer is running well. However, the dryer (electric) does not blow air during cycle. When I run a drying cycle, the buzzer went on after 5 min of use (drying cycle was still running); and when I open the door to check inside, I found that the heating element was glowing red hot and no any air flow inside. I used a new exhaust connection before I fit it. Is it possible that the blower is not working or something else going on? Thanks for your suggestions.
