Everything I read says NOT to attempt to train until/unless you understand that miniature horses are, in fact, horses and must be handled as such. They also must be handled as far more fragile than full size horses.
Every site recommends that the person purchasing the horse research every aspect of what the horse can reasonably be expected to do for fear of injuring the animal.
They do NOT make good "jumpers" because of their size.
What is your experience with horses?

I have lots of experience with horses. I have ridden and lived with horses for almost my whole life. Some miniature horses make good jumpers, but I just need some info on how to start from nothing.

Your whole life is 12 years - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/entertainment/want-singer-am-only-12-but-everyone-loves-voice-any-suggestions-590340.html
You need to know a LOT more about horses before you even begin to break and/or train them - and you need the knowledge live, not on the Internet. https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-pets-animals/gaits-horse-590375.html
You don't even appear to be certain of the terms used in horsebacking riding - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-pets-animals/gaits-horse-590375.html
Get professional advice before you hurt yourself OR the horse(s).

I am a amateur horse trainer... but my dad is a little more experienced than me. He does the training and I help by finding ways to train them. And I am VERY experienced when it comes to riding.

How do you get a horse to go from a walk into a trot?
Hey! I'm an old horse girl from way back and am trying to help you.

pangu36501 does not find this helpful : Insulting me! I have tons of experience!
You have misused the rating system - the info I gave you was factually correct. Maybe you don't LIKE the advice, maybe you think at 12 years old you have "tons" of experience, a lifetime of experience. I don't. I think what you are attempting is dangerous both for you and the horse.
This is a public Q&A board - expect to get advice when you ask for it.
And if you want to talk horses, WG knows her stuff.

There are lots you can do with a mini horse! They can jump, pull a cart, be shown in fairs and be ridden by little kids, you can lunge them teach them tricks like any other horse. Mini horses can PULL 4-5 times their weight! They are awesome animals! They like to be useful and they are proud of it, they have fun with it!
