My cousin in law is the liquor inspector in ontario canada and he threatened the bar owner to revoke his liquor license if he sees me in there again because he does not like me, my cousin flat out told me at that bar he doesn't like me and my family are loosers just because his wife's parents (my aunt and uncle) had a family fallout. I spoke to the owner tonight, he let me in for one beer but he is afraid he will lose his license. Can the inspector do that?

Can the inspector do that?Hello J:
Sure. Should he do that? No. Will he get away with it IF he does?? How much money does the bar owner have to fight it?
We would LIKE to think that people in authority use their authority in a POSITIVE way... But, in MY experience, people with authority SUCK!

He can not do it for "that" reason, but he can say he saw under age kids their, he can dog the owner to find reasons and violations.

Well I think that would be dirty of my "cousin" the inspector do that because he is mean to me and he would not surprise me if he did. I would feel bad for the owner because this is MY family stupid issue. But so far I'm OK with the owner I would just not want my cousin to do a visit While I am there. I would try to get a lawyer if that happened! That's all I have to say about this now.

You would get an Attorney? You can sue only for monetary damages. I doubt you'll suffer monetary damages if you're not allowed in one bar.
The bar owner who loses his license? That's another story.
