Our dryer is less than two years old and was running fine up until last night. My husband went to put in a load and it was dark inside, the light didn't come on. When he pushed the start button, nothing. We checked the breaker box and reset that switch. Does the dryer itself have a reset button or some type of fuse that may need replaced. We'd appreciate any help. My husband is a veteran and we really can't afford to replace this right now. Thanks so much!

I can only help on this in one way: sometimes the breaker isn't all the way on. Peer at it with a flashlight, and if you can see even a bit of the flat part, it's not really on. The fact that the dryer light is out too makes me wonder if it's the breaker.

Hi Fly and welcome, dryers do not have a reset switch. You say you reset the breaker, do you mean you switched it to off and then back on?
If so, you will need a volt/ohm meter, and know how to use it, to check further. Good luck

Everyone who owns a house needs to get a meter and learn how to use it. It's really very easy to use. DrTom4444
