How to take plastic top off trane xl1800 condenser unit, so i can wash it.

I found that you have a small rectangle piece on the corners, pop them off and there is a bolt behind them. Unscrew all 4 corners and the top will lift off in one section.

Yes, you are right. The small 1" X 1 1/2" pieces do come off and expose the screws at each corner. Thanks for the info.
BTW: Turn off power first.
