Water leak on passenger's side of subaru outback

Okay, that means the gasket around the door is shot in one spot I suppose. That's odd because nothing much ever happens to a subee.

Yes my Legacy Outback had two, back on leaked, I just stopped using it. My subee had 250,000 km on it when I parted with it. It was sold to a student who was taking it into Northern Ontario and it is probably still going. The best car ever had driving in bad weather conditons.

So, what does your question really refer to, kitch, I know subees inside and out.

All sunroofs have drains. If they get stopped up or dislodged, then water will collect till it spills over and run down the A pillar.
Next thing to check is the ac evaporator drain. It may need blowing out from blockage. Most likely OK if it's leaving a puddle on the ground with ac use.
