We had it installed by a handyman in 2007 and realized sometime later that it only turns in one direction. Could it be wired improperly? The fan was pricey and we cannot find the manual now to troubleshoot. Located the switch on it but if it is toggled into the other position the fan won't come on at all. The lights and dimmer capabilities all work fine. Should we take it apart and check the wiring or could it be a simple trick with the switch and/or remote, please help!
