My children's father passed away in 2003 at our home. He had told me one time that even after death he would always be with me no matter where I went. When the kids were little they used to talk to their deceased father,I thought they just missed him. Odd things started happening such as things would be moved out of place ( he was a joker)and things would be missing but show up later. I lived there five more years and moved to my new house, I have heard my name called when no one is here but me, I have smelled his ciggerettes in the middle of the night, I have been woken to the smell of his aftershave. Things are disappering again and then showing back up . Am I crazy?

No, you are not crazy. Mistaken and possibly seeing/smelling things that you WANT to? That is more of a possibility. But, yes, you too could be the host/victim of paranormal activity. I will say this, if I had a family I loved dearly and vowed to always be there with them... I doubt I would spend all that free time playing practical jokes and manifesting the smell cigarettes. It just doesn't sit well with me and I simply do not believe that human spirits return after death. Again, I can't say I'm sold yet that you are experiencing spiritual things in the home... but it doesn't mean it is not possible. Just be careful how readily you accept a spirit manifesting in your home. You may get more than you think you are believing in.

Thank you. I just do not really say anything to anyone when things happen, I keep it to myself. The practical joke part he did to me all the time when he was living, and I mean all the time, I had to check for booby traps before I touched a door nob, I may get shocked. And the ciggerette smell I really can't explain, when it happens its always late at night, but that's when he would come home from the bar. It doesn't really worry me, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy.

Ok, well, yes, even ghostly smells are somewhat a common thing to happen. Of course it doesn't mean you have a ghost just because there is a smell you can't explain. But you get what I mean. You know your comfort level with this situation. If it gets more than what you like around the house I would contact a church and have them look into for you. Like I said before, I don't believe human spirits stay after death... so be careful.
